Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My girlfreind had lived with me for almost 1 she is 21 yr old we are no longer together when living with me traded in her car and we went together and put our names on a jeep she said i am responsible for all the jeep although there was negative equity when we got it because of her car and she said she was entitled to equity in my home is this right please advise me what to do ???? I work she has never had a steady job my check was always deposited 2 times monthly and the entire time she lived with me all bills were paid out of my money I am confused ??

Based on the limited information you provided, it sounds as though you obligated yourself on the Jeep (jointly with her), and as such, both of you are responsible for the payments. If that vehicle is titled jointly, then you are both entitled to use of the vehicle as well.

As far as your home goes, she would not be entitled to any equity in it, unless you put her name on the Deed. As long as you didn't do that, the home is still entirely yours.
