Legal Question in Civil Litigation in South Carolina

phone bill

my cousin and i had an agreement that we would put a phone in my name but two seperate numbers and she would pay the bill. Now she is trying to get out of it and stick me with a 700+ bill at last minute. she never signed anything. What are my rights?

You are obligated to the phone company. She is obligated to you. You may sue her, but would need to prove your case in court. A verbal agreement is enforecable. But you must prove it.
