Legal Question in Personal Injury in South Carolina

Hurt due too neglegience at work but off the clock.

I was walking too my vehicle after work on a poorly lit sidewalk after work, this side walk is inside of a resort where I work. We are forced to walk by a construction site on a daily basis too and from work, and they had the fence which is grey pulled a third of the way across the sidewalk which is also grey, I didnt not see it and tripped over it. There were no signs or warnings, I now have a fractured ankle as well as a contusion on my forehead. I am dizzy very often and nearly always feel disoriented. What can I do?

You may file a workers' compensation claim against your employer since you were injured while travelling on the exclusive means of ingress and egress. You may also have a claim against the construction company for the dangerous condition created by the unlit work area.

I believe you have a workers' compensation case that can pay your medical bills, lost time from work, and any permanent impairment/ disability. You may also have a case against the construction company for negligence. I would be happy to consult with you for no charge. If you hire me, my fee will be contingent upon a money recovery for you. Please email me at [email protected].

Thanks.
