Legal Question in Personal Injury in South Carolina

Slander by Manager

I worked at a store for 2 months. A new manger came in. She started to tell other employees and customers that I had an attitude problem, was a ''bitch'', and got lippy with her every day. I never got any type of attitude with her or anyone else at work or while working there. I only worked with her 2-3 times! It took only about 2 weeks of her being there for it to get so bad I had to quit. It was my only source of regular income. Now multiple people thing I was getting an attitude with her while only the opposite it true. Could I sue her for slander? And how strong of a case would I have?

Re: Slander by Manager

You can, but its very difficult to do. Juries don't usually give much money in these cases.
