There is not much information provided in this question but I will try to answer it. If the person had a will and probate has been started the property will be transferred during the probate process. Once a Deed of Distribution has been done the interest in the real property transfers. The new owner can sell the property after it has transferred. If you are in probate and want to sell the real property during probate I would ask the probate court if you are able to sell property. The will may give you the power to sell and if not you may need to ask the court for an order to sell. If probate has not been started I would suggest starting probate so the property can be transferred to the beneficiary.
