I want to change jurisdiction of my child support and visitation to Tennessee from Louisiana. What are my legal rights?

Under Tennessee law, Tennessee can take jurisdiction of a child custody matter once the child has lived in Tennessee for 6 consecutive months immediately before filing a petition her to modify.
