Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee
I messed up and had an affair for about a month with a woman then went back to my wife. A few months after it ended I was told by other people she was pregnant. She never told me and my family asked her if it was mine and she said no. Now the child just turned one and the mother just called me and said she may be mine and she sent my information in for child support, so now not only have I missed the whole first year I will also owe all this back child support because she didnt tell me that the child could be mine. I told her if it is mine I would like to be in her life but she said she doesnt want me to come in her life now because I missed the first year. Is there any chance I could get any visitation or split custody if the baby is mine?
