Legal Question in Technology Law in Texas

Website taken from car club by previous website admin.
We are non profit antique car club that has been around since 1995.We have about 50 members and hold elections every two years for club officers.on our last election in May ,a new website admin.was voted in as well as most officers.The problem is that the old website admin.claimed that it was a fixed election and has kept our website.several times He has put negitave information on it in tring to slam our car club.I, as a new officer(president)have tried with numerious e-mails,letters and phone calls to straigen things out.but it seems hopeless.We have contacted several of the companies hostng the site and some have dropped him but it always seems to pop back up on another one.
What can We do to regain control of our club WEBSITE again. Some people have suggested small claims court to get a gudgement.but how does that going to get our site back. any help out there? thanks

Is the web admin based in Texas as well? (same city as well?)
