Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

car repo judgement

I am married and this is the first loan we have ever defaulted on. We own our home and land less than 20 acres, we have cars for work and children. We have already been sent papers to reply to court, we dont have but a small amount extra every month. What are the most common judgements they will try to give us?

Re: car repo judgement

"They" are not going to "give" you anything. They will take a judgment against you for the balance of the payments less any credit from the sale (and there won't be any because it was sold for less than the balance), repossession fees, sale expenses, court costs, service fees, and attorneys fees.
