Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I got divorced three years ago, and my exhusband was given two years to buy my out of the house. He has now lost the house in forceclosure. I know he still owes me the 24K for the house, but I just found out he is going to file bankruptcy. So my question is if he files banckruptcy will that make it where he wont owe me for the house?
