Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Not Liable

My spouse has huntingtons disease. His mental stability is bad. Will I be liable for his debts that were incurred before we were married? He has no assets, nothing. I support him now. We live in Texas a community property state.

Re: Not Liable

Based on what you have written, generally you will not be liable for his individual debts. Any debt that is jointly accquired would be the responsibility of both. If my local law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]) to arrange for an initial consultation.
