Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
defamation
I was invovled in a road rage situation that resulted in both parties fighting each other. The other party filed a report and 4 months later I see my picture in the paper with the 10 most wanted! I was never contacted regarding the issue and was severely defamed, as were my children, regarding this. How did it possibly get to that extreme without anyone contacting me? Since, I had to hire an attorney, do a walk through and my children and girlfriend have been continually badgered by the investigator. There is still NO case filed against me. Who is responsible for the way that this has gone?
