Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Minor in Possesion of Alcohol
I picked up my friend from a party. About two minutes after we arrived, the cops showed up. The had everyone at the house sit down and give our I.D's, if we had them, and our information. I was not drinking at all but still received a ticket for minor in possesion of alcohol because i was there. I told the cops i was not under the influence but he said he didn't know how to perform the proper tests to see if i was. There were about 30 kids in all that received tickets and the girl that was throwing the party's mom was arrested. I was wondering what kind of legal advice there was. Anything would be appreciated.
