Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

custody modification

i am going to court for a child custody modification, i am a single mom with two children from a previous relationship, my two year old lives with her dad and has been assigned an attorney by the court, will this person visit my house?is it okay to have a two bedroom place with four people?(with my two year old it will be four.)what can i do at this point?i do not mind sharing custody with him, (we lived together for six years but never married)it is just that he filed joint custody in the event that we did not live together, and now we don't and i get problems from him with seeing her, which is why i petitioned for a modification requesting full custody.

Re: custody modification

The attorney for the child has an obligation to visit your house to dtermine the child's location, and living conditions. The fact that there are 4 people in a 2-bedroom house in of little consequensce as long as the 2 year old is safe, happy and loved.
