Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

divorce

i am permanent resident through my wife (who is US national). My first 2 year green card (conditional) has expired and I already have extended my status by applying I 751 jointly. Recently the diffrences among us have mounted and we also have a baby girl. I have few questions to ask you regarding if I proceed to divorce under above circumstances.

Q1: Can my permanent residence staus be cancelled if we divorce ? even after I have I 751 approval reciept stating '' your conditional residence status have been extended for a period of one year''.

Q2:Under what condition can I get my daughter after divorce? My wife had already aborted our first child ( when we were living in New York) without my consent and my this daughter was our second pregnancy.

Note : we are currently living in TX but were married in New York.

Re: divorce

These are actually more immigration questions than family law questions. Whether or not you could get custody of your daughter depends on a lot more than your immigration status. Try to find someone who does both immigration work and family law. Good luck!
