my kids mother recently died and they are in a different state and i wantd to know how can i get them here with me.

I assume that your parental rights have not been terminated. I assume also that you were once married to the mother, or that your parental rights were established by court order ( a paternity case).

Go get the kids; you are their father, and you are the "natural guardian" since you are the surviving heir.
