Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I live in tx, been married 8 years, w 3 kids(age 17, 4, and 6). Ive been a stay at home mom for 8 yrs. my hubby and i lived together for 2 yrs. prior to tying knot. will the two years of living together before marriage be considered common law. If so, would i be ok w the 10 yr requirement for alimony in tx.

Two years count only if you were common law married, which apparently you were not since you later had a "legal" marriage ceremony.
