Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Motion to Enforce or Motion for Contempt?

I received a divorce in August 2007 while in court, my ex husband was court ordered to pay 3900.00 to me by December 1, 2007. I received $0.00. He also was ordered to pay $483.02 in child support per month and I have received $0.00. He also was required to pay the IRS $6000.00 in which also affects me. He recently showed up to pick up my daughter with his truck with accessories totalling at least $5000.00 if not more. He is going to argue that he has no work but I would like to argue the obvious. Since I have children and no support I would like to prove his contempt without an attorney however the filing of paperwork is my question/problem. Can you assist me with forms or references in which I can find the correct material to go about this alone. I am already working with the Attorney General for the Child support issue, but it is the property issues that I am concerned with at this point.

Some of these forms are available over the internet or at your local law library. It's not just getting the forms, it's knowing how to use them, sometimes still a challenge for me. If you don't want an attorney, then you will have to invest the time and effort to prepare and win your case. That's what an attorney does and if it's not worth anything to you, then you can enjoy all of the savings. Good Luck.

Re: Motion to Enforce or Motion for Contempt?

warning: contempt must be pled exactly right or your husband can asked the court to dismiss it and he will win.

It's worth your money to hire an attorney.

I strongly urge you to contact Patricia Bushman. her email address is [email protected]

Her addres is 8978 Kirby Drive

Houston, TX 77054

713.807.9405

TALK TO ARLENE AND TELL HER THAT FRAN BROCHSTEIN SENT YOU!

ARLENE WAS OUT SICK LAST WEEK SO SHE MIGHT BE BEHIND IN RETURNING CALLS.

She will go to counties surrounding Houston (Harris County), Texas.

Her prices are very reasonable for contempt.

Good luck!
