Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Im in South Korea and I have a 3 month old baby. My husband and I moved here a few months ago and out relationship has got to the point where we can't be together. Can I just grab my son and my passport and go back to the US? What would be the first step to take for me to go "home" (Texas) with my son while diverse is filed.

You Need to talk to an attorney in South Korea. If you come back to texas you have to re-establish residency which is 6 months. You need to live in the same county 90 days then you can file for divorce here. I hope this helps.

Before you leave and end your marriage, please talk to your primary care physician. You might be having hormonal issues since you just had a baby. Sometimes meds can really help. Try everything before giving up on your marriage. Good luck!!
