adult child vs parent

due to sexual,physical and mental abuse I now am having health problems. Can I hold that parent responsable leaglely and finacialy?

Maybe. It depends upon how old the abuse is, and if it can be proven -- the abuse, the causation and the damages. You would need to take the facts to an attorney to review.
