Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

My Medical condition

I worked for a company for seventeen years .During that time I was never repremanded and always praised for going above and beyond. A month ago I injured my knee and went to the doctor. The doctor put me on restriction and gave me a note to give my boss. When I gave the note to my boss he was irate and began yelling about my contion and my limitations. Everyone in the office heard him, I was mortified. I quit a week later with no notice and expained the situation in my exit interview. My question should I seek legal council?

Re: My Medical condition

Sad you did not seek legal counsel before you quit..and if you get another job...do not quit..let the boss do constructive firing...Now you probably are not entitled to unemployment but you may be for work comp ...which will probably be fought by the employer....but explain it all to a lawyer now unless you have another way to make a living.
