work for free 2 hours a day

I am a Texas auto insurance appraiser work from home I get paid hourly. I have to drive to look claims. My company say I have to start driving at 7:00am but they are not going to start paying tell 8:00am. I have to stop at 5:30pm but they are going to stop paying meat 4:30pm. The say I am covered by Workers Compensation from the moment I get in my car start working. they want me to work 2 hour a day for free or 10 hr

As I understand the law, the company is violating the FLSA...ie can be liable for overtime.
