How much time does a business have to give you your last paycheck? My last employer claims that either they lost my check or someone that works there gave it to someone claiming they knew me and that I had sent them to get it. When I call the job they say they havn't been able to talk to the employee that may or may not have given my check away that that they will cancel the check and cut me a new one but it will take a while to have that done. it has now been almost a week since I was suppose to get the check. What can I do?

call the Texas Workforce Commission where you live..ie where you apply for unemployment..employers have six days to pay..
