Disclosure by landlord or seller
Does a landlord or seller have a legal obligation to disclose to tennant or buyer the fact that a convicted sex offender lives next door? Have there been cases of civil damages won because this type of information was intentionaly withheld?

Re: Disclosure by landlord or seller
A landlord or seller does not have any such duty. If you asked the question, he might be liable, assuming that he knew. You would have to prove he knew. Such information, however, is public knowledge, and equally available to you as much as to him. It is posted on websites.
