Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

My daughter was hit from behind. the police wasn't call, they just exchange info. When the info was given to me, they didn't write down the name of the insurance or number. I have tried several times to get in touch with the other party, by calling and leaving messages, with no respond. what legal options do i have to get my car repaired. Thanks

If your daughter has collision insurance, then turn it over to her insurance agent. If not, your daugther can sue this person in small claims court if her damages are under $10,000. If over that amount, then she should consider hiring an attorney.

You could also hire an attorney to send this person a letter.

If you have the license plate for the vehicle, call the police department and ask them to provide you with the insurance info on the vehicle.

Good luck.
