Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Formal Denial Letter

I am being sued by a man claiming personal injury in an accident. I need to respond within a certain amount of time and can't afford a lawyer. Someone told me I needed to file a formal denial letter with the court. Is there a form for this or do I just write a letter?

Re: Formal Denial Letter

If you did not have insurance then you need to hire an attorney or at least speak to one in person to discuss the facts of your case. You can hire a lawyer just to look at your paperwork and advise. The answer to your question is I have not seen a form to fill out to answer a lawsuit. It depends on the facts of your case.
