Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Injury on School Property During Supervised Time

My kindergartener is enrolled in after the bell program at school. While on playground he was pushed by another child down the fireman pole. At the time the superviser did not see the incident occur. When it was brought to his attention nothing was done until my son stressed he was hurt a second time. Ice was applied for 10 min. When i arrived to pick him up at 6 pm I was not informed of the situation until my son initiated it. The next day I was informed by my doctor to take him to the emergency room. The result a broken bone of the humerus. Is the school responsible for the medical bills etc.
