What is the State of Texas law that REQUIRES a property owner to HAVE to be a member of an property owner association they do not agree with?Or do they have the freedom not to be a member?

If your deed or title policy recites that there is a mandatory home owners association, then you DO have to be a member and pay assessments. If not, you do not.
