non parent gardianship

my brother in law is getting divorsed from his second wife. he has full custody of his deughter from a previous marrage and his second wife is tring to get custody of her. is it possible for her to acheive this goal?

Without knowing all of the facts it is impossible to know the likelihood of any outcome. While it is possible that girlfriend could get custofy it is extremely unlikely. If boyfriend loses custody, the child's mother would likely get custody. More likely than not, 2nd wife is making threats to intimidate her husband into a settlement she wants.
