Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

workers rights

When I was hired, I was not told that I would have to use my own car to pick up checks from various banks. My cars warranty uses mileage to determine the warranty. My grandfater is on my car title and in the event of an accident while on company time, my grandfather can be held personally liable. There is another person who can pick up the checks. Do I have any recourse in the event that I get fired for refusal to use my own personal car? What are my rights?

Re: workers rights

You can file for unemployment compensation because the firing would not be your fault.
