Legal Question in Tax Law in Utah

Claiming a grandson as a dependant

My daughter is divorced and she and her son live with me. I do not charge her rent and I also provide the food for them. Her divorce decree states the her ex husband can claim my grandson every other year. Is there any laws that will allow me to claim my grandson as a dependant?

You can claim him with your daughter's permission in the years she is entitled to claim him.
