Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia

Bankruptcy Lawyer for Adversary Proceeding

US Bankruptcy Court Eastern District of Virginia (Alexandria Division). Deadline is March 23, 2009. My real estate attorney licensed in Virginia already prepared a draft of the adversary proceeding that needs to be reviewed by a bankruptcy attorney and filed online if that is the best and fastest way possible. Other paperwork like proof of claim or objection that may be necessary and filed as well. If required, these documents will be served to the debtor or the bankruptcy lawyer. I will possibly need representation if the bankruptcy court schedules a hearing after.

Go to the website for National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, http://www.nacba.org/ , and click on "Find attorneys near you!". Then click on Virginia, and you'll find a whole list of bankruptcy attorneys. You can then further narrow the field by geographic criteria. Good luck!
