Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

i had a judgment issued against my credit due being a co-signer at rent-a-center. i was not notified about the court date, but the courts said they put a summons on the door where the furniture was delivered and i no longer lived at the residence. The judge granted restitution or the return of their property which the received back a few days later. They are still seeking restitution as well, are they allowed to do that?

No, such a judgment would normally require only one or the other, i.e.,

return of the property or (if such is not possible) in the alternative

a judgment against the defaulting renters for its fair market value.
