getting a birth certificate for adopted children

I am the biological mother of kids adopted by my parents. Both Kids are over age 18 now.Can i legally have me and their biological father as the parents on their birth certificates now? If not,what do i need to do so that i can?

The only way to amend the birth certificate after being divested of your parental rights (necesaary for someone else to adopt your kids) is to divest the grandparents of thier parental rights and re adopt your own children.

I've never heard of it being done however.
