Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia
Immegration quesion
my little brother was is serving a 10yrs sentence now at a correctional facility is an alien.he has his green card but he is not an american citizen. my question is i think after he serve he sentence they may send him back home, but my family doesn't want that is there anything we can do to prevent them from deporting him? and also, his girfriend is an american citizen states that f they get marrie, he won't be deported can is that correct? please let me know.

You should consult with an immigration attorney ASAP. The nature of his conviction may be a deportable offense regardless if he is married to a United States citizen. Good luck to you!
