Re: eviction of a friend

There is no form or court process of which I'm aware for the type of "friend" whom you've described who has overstayed his or her welcome.

Your remedy is to give them written notice of a date certain by which they must vacate your premises or they will be considered trespassers

and subject to arrest and removal by local law enforecment authorities.

Then, if that date arrives and finds them still on the premises, you must follow through with that call to the police or sheriff's department

who will come and do what is necessary to get them out.
