Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

My brother had an accident and has been summoned to answer for 46.2-853 of Virginia law, reckless driving because he lost control of a motor vehicle. I think I should advise him to seek a traffic attorney, but what other aspects should we be aware of? Would attending a remedial or safe driving course before the court date help? He hasn't had any issues with the law until this point. We think his vehicle and the other man's truck are both total losses, and the dude went to the hospital complaining of chest pains, likely from the airbags deploying. Any advice would be appreciated.

Other than hiring an attorney with experience in handling traffic cases in

the court in which your brother has been charged, I would also concur in

your suggestion that he also attend a driver's improvement course

and secure a certificate of completion prior to going to court (and

preferably one which is on the court's approved list for such courses).
