Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

pain and suffering

What, by law, defines pain and suffering? I have been treated unfairly by an assistant principal at my school and my health suffered.

This has been going on for 2 months now.

Re: pain and suffering

This question is far too complex to answer in a few sentences besides it begs more questions than answers; i.e. what kind of relationship do you have with the assistant principal; is he your employer, are you a student? How has your health suffered? What kind of proof do you have that the assistant principal is responsible for your health problems? Sounds like you need to consult with a local attorney.

I would doubt that the kind of "pain and suffering" (basically mental stress, it would seem) which you've described would provide a viable basis for you to recover damages either from the school or its assistant principal under applicable Virginia law.
