Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Rate Increases

My lease is about to expire in a couple of months. I wanted to know is there any laws that restrict the amount a landlord can increase your rental rate? I have heard it was no more than 10%, but I wanted to know for sure. Thank You.
