Spider Bite at Work

I work in the garden at a major co. I got bit by an insect and I reported it two days later with witnesses. My HR person said she would note it in my file and then told me a couple of days later as I am battling this that I have no claim and she will not file for me. What should I do?

You yourself may file your claim with the Commission.(Claim for Benefits VWC Form No. 5)
