Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington

car purchase

I lived in New Jersey because I was moving to Florida. I sold a 1989 used car 1 1/2 month ago for $1,300 with no warranty. I told the person who was buying it to go to New Jersey & inspect the car before purchasing. She made the payment and took the car to DC on her way back the car stop working, I told her I give her $100 to help. She put the car on her name when she got to DC and she drove it for a while, she call me a week ago because the car was not working. Can she legally sue me???

Re: car purchase

This is not a civil rights matter. You should take the time to determine what category you want your question in before sending it out. You will have better luck at getting an attorney who is interested and has the expertise to answer your question.
