Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington

parking laws

I live in an apartment complex. Each unit has a designated disabled parking spot. I live in the hadi-cap apartment in the unit. Last night I parked there when I went to get in my car this morning. It had been towed. I leave at 7:30am and return usually around 7:00pm wich is after business hours. Is this a legal tow?

Re: parking laws

Whether it was a legal tow would depend on whether you had your handicapped placard displayed properly in your car. If you did not display it; it would be a legal tow, but you could probably get a judge to waive the fine and court costs if you presented the placard at court.
