judgement

can i remove a judgement myself, i claimed bankrupcy first before i went to court on judgement? and how do i remove from credit report?

You can file a copy of your bankruptcy discharge papers with the court where the judgment is (in the same file) and send a copy of your discharge to each of the three credit bureaus and demand they attach it to your credit report and correct your credit report. When dealing with the bureaus, send your letters certified return receipt requested and track the letters at usps.com. Hope this helps. Elizabeth Powell
