Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

$2000 item a worthless Chinese copy

I very stupidly traded an item on ebay (I know!) that was worth almost $2200, for an item that was of equal value, looked extremely legit, but recently found out it was a worthless knock off. I have some info on the guy, but have no idea what recourse I have against this person, or where to go next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I do not work in the investigative branch of law enforcement. I am a defense attorney. That said, it will be extremely difficult to bring a criminal charge, or even a lawsuit, against someone that you have limited information against. Contact e-bay first to see if they can give you additional information. Then call the police precinct closest to you. If you have further questions, contact me directly.
