I resigned from my job 3 weeks ago and was due a final paycheck which I received. I just received another paycheck - I am required to return it?

I would recommend returning it, especially since you are aware that it is an error. Your former employer is entitled to demand a refund of the overpayment when the error is discovered, and it will be much simpler to undo everything now than it will be down the road when taxes have been withheld and deposited, and you've (possibly) spent the money. I know it's painful, but send it back.
