Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Washington

Trying to figure out if we have a case against an Associated Physicians for Wome

After 10 years of trying to get pregnant we did. Only to lose him at 20 weeks of what we have now found out could have been prevented. We had switched physicians just 3 weeks before losing him. I had been in repeatedly to the emergency room and to the office and no one person was handling my case at this office. Every doctor was different and none seemed to really know what the other one was doing. My medication for a Bladder infection was switched at the emergency room just two days prior to losing him. I had been complaining of pressure and they said it was normal. The day before I lost him I had an ultrasound which showed he was a completely normal baby. There was also a second check in a week of my cervix by a different physician. The first check showed it was normal and closed the second check showed it was softening but still closed. I knew something was wrong but was sent home on bed rest. I lost him 16 hours later because they were unable to stop the contractions that I had been complaining about for 2 days and therefore could not stitch my cervix closed.

I would need to see all of your medical records and have a doctor review it.

From what you have told me, I can't see anything which jumps out at me which was done wrong. It doesn't mean that everything was done ok. A consulting OB-GYN needs to review the records.

If you are interested, please call.

I am sorry for your loss.
