If a civil case defndent becomes liable to pay a plaintif a large sum award, which of the following assets are non-seizable?

Equity in primary residence

Bank CD

IRA certificate

US Savings Bonds

Home furnishings

Spouse's personal belongings including jewelry

Does the defendent have the option of paying off pre-existing creditors before assets are seized?
