Pain caused by the other

To Who It May Consern,

I was in a major bank about

four months ago and the floor was wet however there was no warning message. The tiles were very

slippery and I slipped and fell on my right side and hurt myself. I had witnesses including the

bank tellers. I slowly got myself up and after

went to a medical clinic and doctor who are still

treating me. I am still in terrible pain. Do I

have a case against this bank? My back is pinching me on a regular basis and I never had this before. Thanks. Mindy

You most likely have a case. You were what the law calls a "business invitee," and as such you were entitled to a high standard of care by the bank to maintain a safe premises. They would most likely be liable if they were the ones responsible for the slippery surface. Were there any signs saying the floor had been freshly mopped? How severe are your injuries? I would be glad to discuss the matter with you, free of charge. If you should decide to retain me, I charge the usual 1/3 of any recovery, otherwise there is no cost to you in the event of no recovery.
