Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

My brother-in-law died without a will. My wife and I are co-administrators. There are five serviving heirs but we cannot locate one of them and it's been almost a year. What happens to the last fifth of the estate?

That depends on a lot of things, including the size of the estate, bonding, the financial condition of the other heirs and whether there is sufficient information to have the missing heir legally declared dead.
