Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

What will to choose?

My wife and I are trying to select which type of Will to use. Together we have no children. But I have 3 adult children and 1 minor child from a previous marriage. We are not sure which form is appropriate.

Re: What will to choose?

Frankly, I'm not either. This is because you really haven't provided any information as to your wishes or intentions with your assets. Perhaps you need a simple will. Or perhaps you need a QTIP Trust. Finding a will form is easy. Deciding WHICH will form to use is how lawyers get paid. Given your children from a previous marriage, I suggest you consult with an estate planning attorney.

Remember, I'm an attorney but I'm not YOUR attorney. Only a thorough review of your situation by a competent attorney after an attorney-client relationship has been established will result in an informed legal opinion.
